My two-bedroom
Spanish holiday apartment is located in a lovely area of the Costa Blanca,
within easy reach of both Alicante
and Murcia
airports.The apartment is in
a gated community which was completed in 2005. The
Fontana
development is located on the edge of the small Spanish town of Algorfa
, and is next to open countryside, including orange and lemon groves.The apartment is in an elevated position, with good views over
the surrounding area, nearby mountains and the countryside.
The Fontana Algorfa development comprises four sets of apartments around a
communal pool and landscaped walkways.Entry is by wrought iron gates or secure underground car park (with
your own dedicated space), with lifts serving the three floors above
ground level.Our apartment is
an “Atico” on the top floor.It
has a private balcony with good views and a spiral staircase up to a
private roof solarium which, of course, is a sun trap.
The apartment
is fully air conditioned (which doubles up as a blown warm air heating
system for chilly winter evenings) and has two bedrooms – one double and one twin.There is also a sofa bed in the lounge area making is possible to
sleep up to six people.The
apartment has an entrance hall, utility room with washing machine, kitchen
area (including hob, oven and fridge/freezer), lounge, two bedrooms, and a
bathroom with bath, shower, sink, wc and bidet. The apartment is fully
furnished, with all the crockery, cutlery and pots and pans that you might
need.Bed linen and towels
(but not beach towels) are included.
Getting
there Algorfa is 40
minutes drive from
Alicante
or
Murcia
airports.Both airports are
well served by many low cost airlines.
You may
arrive and leave on any day of the week (subject to
availability of course), so you can take advantage of the cheaper flights.You may also stay for any number of days you would like.There are numerous good value car hire companies which allow you to
pick up and drop off at either of these airports.We recommend that you get an online quote from Holiday
Autos.Spanish roads are
easy to navigate and traffic levels are generally lower than in the
UK
.We will provide you with
directions to the apartment on booking.
The
surrounding area There are many
activities and pastimes to occupy you while staying in the Costa Blanca
area, including golf, sports, swimming and fishing (freshwater and sea).Food and drink is
inexpensive and plentiful.We
can recommend some very good local restaurants which do set menus from as
little as £5 (including wine).There is a wide choice of excellent beaches to visit.The closest one 20 minutes drive is the beach and dunes at
Guardamar, which is recommended in the Eyewitness guides as being one of
the best and quietest on the Costa Blanca.For those interested in sport, there are five golf courses within a
fifteen minute drive of our apartment – all of them pay and play.There is a tennis club a short walk away and right next door are
Algorfa’s communal sports facilities, including a large swimming pool.Not forgetting that you can also relax by the communal pool in the
Fontana
complex.For shopping trips,
there is an excellent market at Almoradi and lots of shops at nearby
Torrevieja.

PER MONTH
There is a
modest
cleaning charge per booking so that the apartment can be prepared by our
local representatives for the next visitors. You will be asked to leave
40
Euros in an envelope when you leave (those on a one month stay pay a
higher 50 Euro charge to reflect the extra cleaning required). Our local reps can also arrange
10
Euro starter packs comprising:1
bottle water;1 carton orange juice; 1 carton milk; 1 tub flora; 1 bottle
red wine;1 bottle white wine;1 loaf of bread; 6 eggs; 1 small fruit pack.
Details of more comprehensive starter packs will be provided if
required.

non-refundable deposit is required on booking and the balance is due

Costa
Blanca - the ideal place for a Golf Break My apartment is the ideal base for a Golf break.
There are 5 golf courses within a 20 minute drive of Algorfa and right next door
to the Fontana development is La Finca golf course -- one of the best courses on
the Costa Blanca. La Finca is 3 minutes drive from my apartment. For more

Another good site detailing courses in the Algorfa/Torrevieja area is
Spanish Golf Villas September to May are the best times to play golf
in Spain, as the temperatures are less intense and you benefit from low season

Fishing There is lots of coarse fishing close to the
apartment. The Segura river runs through Algorfa and there is a large lake full
of carp and barbel about 20 minutes away at San Miguel. The fish can be
easily caught on sweetcorn or bread. A telescopic rod and tackle is
available in the apartment for guests to use. A local English fishing guide,
Peter, is available if you would prefer to have a trip organised with all tackle
and bait provided at very reasonable prices. You can fish for carp, barbel, bass

Unterkunft hat eine ausgezeichnete Lage, bietet
wunderschönen panoramischen Ausblick auf die Gegend,
Gebirge, und den herrlichen La Finca Golfplatz.
In Fontana Algorfa Gebäude werden Sie 4 angenehme
Ferienwohnung finden, liegen neben dem gemeinsamen
Pool und Gangway. Der Komplex besitzt sichere
Eingang, Untergrund-Parken mit eingenem Parkplatz.
Lift bietet Zugang zu drei Etage. Unsere
Ferienwohnung „Atico“ befindet sich im obersten
Stock. Der eigene Balkon bietet herrliche Ausblicke.
Eine Spiral-Treppe führt zum eigenen sonnigen
Dachsolarium. Es gibt 2 Schlafzimmer, (ein Zimmer
mit Doppelbett, und ein mit 2 Einzelbette), und ein
Wohnzimmer mit Sofabett, so die Unterkunft bietet
bequeme Belegung für 6 Personen. In der
klimatisierten und völlig möblierten Ferienwohnung
werden Sie Eingangshalle, Versorgungsraum mit
Waschmaschine, Küche (ausgestattet mit: Ofen,
Kühlschrank), Lounge, 2 Schlafzimmer, und Badezimmer
(mit Badewanne, Dusche, Waschbecken, WC, Bide)
finden. Geschirr, Essbesteck, und Töpfe stehen zur
Verfügung.
Sie werden zahlreiche
ausgezeichnete Küste in der Nähe finden. Guardamar
ist in 10 Minuten Fahrt erreichbar. Es ist das
nächhste Strand, und es ist die beste und ruhigste
Küste in Costa Blanca – nach der Eyewitness Guides.
